THE BEASTIE BOYS - Hot Sauce Committee Part II

A trip down memory lane via Beastie Boys releases;

License- The time you discovered that it was unacceptable to not know at least 80% of the lyrics to track #9 as it was mandatory in order to remain socially relevant at anyone's given academic institution (even 15-17 years after it came out).

Boutique- "Hey umm, we're not a fluke. No really."

Check- If this was your favorite BB album then raise your hand. Alright now if this wasn't your favorite BB album...because you just didn't really get into at the time...because maybe you were too into 'grunge' music and were going through a brief phase where you thought it wasn't cool to like anything that didn't come from Seattle and/or wasn't 'underground' but than later appreciated what a feat this album was and how it fused styles so flawlessly and catered to almost every type of person, then raise your hand.

ill- The greatest Q-Tip cameo of modern times.

Nasty- The reason that I waited in line at a Tower Records for the midnight release of an album (granted I only waited in line for like an hour, but still).

5- The one that was the most overlooked (but had the least non-sequitur album title).

Mix- The reason that...wait did anyone else not know this was an album?

to present day...

Sauce- The grand culmination of elements from literally everything above and in between, but in no way overdone, and after 25yrs in, still churning out quality music . Really good. Still got it. Well done gents, well done.

In conclusion: the Beastie Boys wait a long ass time in between albums.
